Overview

Sugar is a resource under the generic Sugar type of resources. All the non-generic resources of this type are:

• Gum
• Honey
• Nectar
• Resin
• Saps
• Sugars
• Sugar Cane
• Syrup

You can use the various kinds of Sugar as cooking ingredients (using a Cooking Pot or Grill) and for crafting. Also found by harvesting Elderberry bushes with a Sickle. (Disputed - I have harvested many an elderberry bush with a sickle and have never gotten sap.)

The "Saps" Category Is Being Changed to "Sugar"

While the changeover has been made here on the wiki, we still await the change in game. —Jagid3 (talk) 23:17, 29 April 2019 (UTC) There is one exception, though, already in game. If you search your inventory for "saps" nothing comes up, but searching "sugar" will show all forms of the previously called "saps". And it's been that way a long time.
