Resources

Resources are items that can be harvested or otherwise collected and used to create other items.

Resources fall into general categories and there are several types of items that qualify for each category. Depending on the Biome you are in (i.e. desert, temperate, etc.) you will have different resources items for the same category. For example, you may need Fibers but depending on the Biome you are in you may be collecting Fiber items or Hemp items (both of which fall into the Fiber ategory).

Holding down h (default settings) on the keyboard while targeting a resource will tell you what types of items are collectible from that resource.

If you are searching for other like Food or Intermediates, try to take a look there. Resources are a pre-defined ingame category of items.
