==Summary==
Any structures within the claim radius will become owned by the company that placed the tower when the claim finishes staking.  It will also prevent placement of [[Structures]] inside the claim area by any other company or player.  

*You cannot place a tower inside the radius of another, however, the ownership areas can overlap.  

===Staking===
Once a tower is placed it takes 45 minutes, assuming no interference, for the tower to stake the claim.  Any damage to the tower will pause the staking progress.  This is visually represented in-game by the flag slowly being run up the flagpole on top.  You do not need to put go into the tower for it to stake a claim.

When a new tower is initially placed a region-wide message "COMPANY has staked a claim of ISLAND" and then when the staking process has finished another message "COMPANY now rules a patch of ISLAND" will trigger.
