'''Lawless''' is the most common type of [[Regions|region]] in the game.  Player vs Player damage is enabled, and [[NPCs|creatures]] will be higher level than in [[Freeport]].  Any [[structures]] not within range of a [[Lawless Claim Tower]] will decay after 7 Days of inactivity.  

==Restrictions==
* You cannot place a [[Claim flag]] in any lawless region. 
* [[Taxation Bank]] Can be placed however it is only for decoration as tax collection is disabled.
* You cannot build near hostile structures.

===Mytroa===
While the majority of the starter [[Map#Oceans|Ocean]] is made-up of Lawless regions placement of [[Claim Tower]]s is prohibited. 

===Notes===
*It is advised to build a {{ItemLink|Simple Bed}} to place on your new sailing vessel in case you die during your travels. This will allow you to respawn on your ship.
* The face of the islands changes often because a lot of people travel there to get resources or to get a beginning to build large ships and contest claimed islands. 
* The [[Creatures|Animals]] are the same at the other island in the biome. You have [[Alpha Creatures]] too and you can tame the normal ones. 
* You can find treasure bottles for [[Treasure|Treasure maps]].
