Overview[ | ]
Lanterns provide a bright steady light in a wide radius. Unlike the warm flickering glow of Torches, lanterns offer a steady, yellow glow.
Lanterns may be recolored using Coloring by simply dragging the coloring onto the lantern.
When placed on the player's hotbar, lanterns may be activated with a hotkey and provide a bright glow that moves with the player. Lanterns may also be placed in Wall Hooks to illuminate structures and ships.
When attached to a Wall Hook and constantly lit, the lantern burns around 30 hours, consuming durability. Each time you turn the Lantern on it consumes 1 durability, no matter how long it has been lit before.
All Lanterns can be toggled on or off from the Ship Steering Wheel.
When broken it only requires 2x oil to repair.
