Grenade is a weapon that can be crafted in the smithy.

Usage

A short ranged weapon that can be used to damage structures. When the player equips a grenade, they can throw it by clicking the left mouse button. or drop it by clicking the right or middle mouse button.
It is suggested to stand back, and not aim head on to the target as the grenade will bounce off structures or targets.

Structure Damage

A direct or very near hit will do the following damage:

• 291/3 Damage to Wood Structures, roughly
• 351/3 Damage to Stone Structures, roughly

Update

• per patch v536.03 - Grenades can now be stored in the Munitions Storage
• Per patch v315.18 - Prevented grenades from being thrown when a glider is equipped
• Per Patch v207.93 - Reduced Grenade damage to players by 33%, to NPC Crew and Creatures by 10%
• Per Patch v104.51

RMB or Middle Mouse Button will now "drop" a grenade

Grenade physics tweaked slightly be weightier, damage radius increased 15%, and grenade explosions now move with ships properly
