Once tamed, crabs eat File:Rotten meat.png rotten meat.
Utility
It can carry heavy loads across great distances through the use of its jump mechanic. It can grab players, tames and wild creatures with both claws. [1] On a PvE server, the Crab will only carry Company or personal tames and players. On a PvP server it can pick up non-friendly players.
Combat
The Crab has two attacks. Right-click on the mouse and it will smash with its right claw; Left-click and it will smash with its left claw. Pressing both the right and left mouse buttons and it will smash doubling its damage.
