<div class="infobox-tabber"><tabber> Cap= clear |-| Chestpiece = clear |-| Gauntlets = clear |-| Leggings = clear |-| Boots = clear </tabber></div> Fur Armor is a mid-tier armor that offers moderate physical protection and extreme protection from cold weather, but makes the wearer much more susceptible to heat. Each piece provides 40 armor, for a total of 200 with a full set. It is unlocked on the basics skill Basics of Armor on the Armory skill tree node, and is craftable using only Cotton, Skin,Chitin and Organic Paste. All parts are craftable in the Tannery. ==Crafting== The resource cost for a full set of Fur Armor is: {| class="wikitable sortable wm-collapsable" |- !Item !!Fiber Costs !!Hide Costs !!Keratinoid Costs !!Organic Paste Costs |- |Fur Boots || 14 x Fibers|| 20 x Hide|| 20 x Keratinoid|| 12 x Organic Paste |- |Fur Gauntlets || 15 x Fibers|| 20 x Hide|| 20 x Keratinoid|| 14 x Organic Paste |- |Fur Cap || 23 x Fibers|| 36 x Hide|| 36 x Keratinoid|| 16 x Organic Paste |- |Fur Leggings || 32 x Fibers || 40 x Hide || 40 x Keratinoid || 16 x Organic Paste |- |Fur Chestpiece || 28 x Fibers|| 38 x Hide|| 38 x Keratinoid|| 14 x Organic Paste |- |Full Set || 112 x Fibers || 154 x Hide || 154 x Keratinoid || 72 x Organic Paste |} ==Usage== Fur Armor is incredibly heavy, with a full set having a total weight of 34. This makes it difficult to transport large amounts of goods while wearing or carrying the armor.<br/> A full set of Fur Armor provides 216 cold protection and -130 heat protection, making it much easier to survive in the Snow Biome, but difficult to use anywhere else. Despite the cold protection provided by the armor it is still possible to freeze to death in the Snow Biome. Remember not to ignore your Fortitude and heat sources, if you venture within. {| class="wikitable sortable wm-collapsable" !Item !!Armor !!Hypothermic!!Hyperthermic !! Weight |- |Fur Cap |35 |40 | -13 |4.2 |- |Fur Chestpiece |35 |61 | -37 |9.8 |- |Fur Gauntlets |35 |40 | -13 |2.8 |- |Fur Leggings |35 |61 | -37 |12.59 |- |Fur Boots |35 |40 | -13 |4.2 |- |Set |175 |216 | -130 |33.59 |} The armor provides no cold protection while the player is in the water. Because of its temperature-negating properties and light weight, experienced players are recommended to carry Fur Armor in their inventory to switch out with their primary armor during extreme Heat and/or Cold. This is especially helpful during long excursions from the player's base, where otherwise the player would be devoid of temperature-controlling elements. The very basics are the Cloth Armor. But when you need more hypothermic protection focus on Hide Armor. If you want more Armor Protection you need to focus the Plate Armor. ==Spawn Command== Use this command to give yourself a full set of Fur Armor {|class="mw-collapsible mw-collapsed" ! style="text-align:left" | Spawn Command |- ! class="mw-collapsible-content" style="text-align:left;word-wrap:break-word;" | |} ==Gallery== Nav armor de:Fell Rüstung
